From Natalie: “Summer, to me, means returning to my second home–the place where my cousins, grandparents, and aunts and uncles reside. It means giant extended family dinners with shrimp fried rice, savory pork and mushroom sticky rice dumplings, and pickled radish pork floss fan tuan. Truthfully, I had to look up what being Taiwanese meant, but now that I see it, I see my best traits stem from my heritage.”
