Mission
Global Leadership Organization (GLO) enhances the world by providing passionate individuals with tangible skills to become leaders in all facets of our global society. We inspire people to become “Social Transformative Leaders,” train them, and empower them to be change agents. We believe that with skills and the right attitude, people can drive tangible results, enact positive change in our world, and leave legacies that transcend our individual lives.

Programs
Global Leadership Organization plans and executes leadership conferences, camps, and trainings through the world.
Conferences: Our flagship conferences are 3-4 days with intense training. We teach our curriculum mostly in small group settings to ensure attendees get individual attention and training. Through mock scenarios, attendees immediately put their newly learned methods, techniques, and systems into practice in mock scenarios and intensive activities.
Summits: We organize summits where attendees of our training programs compete in small group teams. Our summits attract leaders, where groups are assigned social-improvement projects. They have 1-2 days to dissect topics (like world hunger, social stratification, etc) and utilize our structured systems to come up with solutions to those social issues.
Chapters: G.L.O. has chapters in high schools and colleges with mentorship programs, trainings, and leadership opportunities.
Certification: G.L.O. provides certification to attendees who complete various levels of our training program, including those who are certified to become trainers.

Registration cost (Students/Professionals) (Required at the time of registration):

History
Global Leadership Organization was founded in 2012 by Teddy Liaw. In partnership with the Taiwanese American Citizens League, which Teddy was the National President of in 2012, G.L.O. launched its first leadership conference at UC Berkeley. Attendees from over 30 organizations and 8 states attended. Within a year, conferences at Columbia University and UT Austin were launched. Shortly thereafter, the program was international with a conference in Taiwan. The manifestation of G.L.O. started much earlier as the core curriculum was designed by Teddy Liaw over 15 years and had been taught in isolated modules for years. Teddy formerly was a motivational speaker and frequently toured at high school assemblies and conferences, and had served in leadership roles at several organizations, including CEO at NexRep, National President of TACL, Founder and President of TAP, student body President of UC Berkeley, Berkeley Foundation Board of Trustees, and Founder and President of AAA-Berkeley. Through skills, G.L.O. hopes to help create youth leadership movements throughout the world, create social advocates, and empower “Social Transformative Leaders” to make the world a better place. Today, G.L.O has spread its training to students and adults throughout the world, impacting many nonprofit and for-profit organizations.

I would like to appreciate the agenda of the conference. Living in a third world country, Pakistan, I believe there is great learning potential for me if I am eligible to attend this conference. Please inform if this forum is open to international students as well. Thank you.
