After a break from the holidays, we are back for another Taiwanese Homestyle Cooking Workshop! With the Lantern Festival (last day of Lunar New Year) in mind, we will feature Tang Yuan, both savory and sweet glutinous rice balls! Tang Yuan is traditionally eaten with family and the many round balls represent togetherness. Come join the TAP family in learning how to make delicious rice balls and share with them with your family and friends in the future!
The hands-on workshop time is 3 hours long and size is limited to the first 16 people who pay through EventBrite https://www.eventbrite.com/e/taiwanese-homestyle-cooking-tang-yuan-rice-balls-tickets-10423748713. Chase QuickPay to firstname.lastname@example.org. Unfortunately, no refunds available. One person per ticket. Confirmation of this event will be receipt of payment through EventBrite. If using Chase QuickPay, email email@example.com for confirmation.
Ingredients, drinks, and instruction are included in the price. Please be on time so you don’t miss the important cooking instructions. Please bring a measuring cup (with a 1/3 cup measure), cutting board, medium and large mixing bowls, and an apron (if you want to keep your clothes clean!).
Taiwanese Homestyle Cookbook will be on sale for $20 at the event. We will be using this as our recipe guide for all our Taiwanese cooking workshops.
Free street parking available.
