Just like food can shape culture, language reflects events that a particular culture experiences. For this reason, Keep Taiwan Free feels that it’s important to explore Taiwanese culture through eating Taiwanese food and learning some basic Taiwanese with Professor Lee!

Professor Lee will be conducting the session while Felicia Lin will be our wonderful host. Our topic will be flirting in Taiwanese, among other conversational topics.

All participants pay $20 to cover the cost for the food and venue. Dinner will be family style and includes:
-stinky tofu
-oyster pancake
-fried popcorn chicken
-taiwanese sausage
-minced pork over rice
-pork taiwanese hamburger (guabao)
-three cup chicken
-vegetable dish
-stir fried rice noodles (tsao mi fun)
-shaved ice
