Can you count the number of missed opportunities because of the failure to employ intentional networking techniques? In today’s workplace, it is critical to be able to eloquently share your value proposition to key people who can positively influence your career. Networking requires skills encompassing political savvy, cultural dexterity combined with creating intriguing dialogue to “hook” select individuals to find out more from you about you. And when the networking is successful, job interviews should follow.

Come to the workshop Thursday, August 22nd, where the topic of our discussion is ”Hook Them at Hello” with Intentional Networking, and will be presented by Claire Tse, MGA, Tse Solutions LLC, Reston, VA. Attendees will be developing their draft “elevator speeches” and have the opportunity to test-drive it with other attendees.

Afterwards, we’ll head on over to Tara Temple, where we’ll put our newly-acquired professional networking techniques to the test!
