Join Chicago Taiwanese American Professionals for a free outdoor viewing of Moulin Rouge on the new 40 foot LED screen at the Pritzker Pavillion! The 2001 film stars Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor. Arrive early to meet new people and help us reserve a good spot on the grass. We will try to display a Taiwanese flag so you can find us.

Cost: Free, but please try to bring a towel, sheet, or chair to sit on, and some food or drink to share.

Film description: a young English writer comes to Paris to take part in the Bohemian revolution which leads him to the famous Moulin Rouge where he falls in love with a beautiful courtesan, a woman also coveted by the club’s patron known as The Duke. Director/writer Baz Luhrman has scored the film set in 1899 with many contemporary 20th century songs including “Material Girl” and “Your Song”.
