Fitness Conditioning with Chicago Taiwanese American Professionals

Before you join that gym membership this winter, consider generating momentum for that New Year’s resolution by working out with 25 other friends once a week. Tough it out with members of Chicago Taiwanese American Professional’s (Chicago TAP) Dragon Boat team and friends every Sunday for 12 weeks starting January 13th and ending March 31st, 2013. Build functional strength, endurance, and mental toughness. Set your physical goals this New Year and prepare to accomplish them with the help of Chicago TAP.

This 1-hour long group work-out starts promptly at 10:30am with two certified trainers. The training program is a high intensity, interval work-out designed for explosive movement in the sport of dragon boating. It is an indoor cross fit-style training that includes: kettlebells, TRX suspension training systems, and Olympic-style weight-lighting. Shoulders, arms, core, and legs will be blasted. All levels of fitness are welcome. Please do not be discouraged if you find yourself on the lower fitness scale. Encouragement from friends provides additional value to this group work-out.

Note: If any of the members are not able to make the hour session with the group on Sundays, the owner has agreed to allow for make-up sessions during the week in other scheduled classes between 9am-5pm. Facility is conveniently located in the heart of the Magnificent Mile (625 N. Michigan Ave- Michigan & Ontario).

We have a special discounted rate with Unicus Fitness- Fitness Lair of $100/person for the entire 12-week program (Sunday workouts only) offered exclusively to Chicago TAP. Alternatively, we have a rate of $40/person per each month, due on the first Sunday of each month. The one hour session is dedicated to this group alone so work out just with friends.

The alternative monthly rate of $40/person is due on the first Sunday of each month, and there is a drop in rate of $15/person. There is a maximum of 25 people to join the conditioning program. First come first serve.

Dragon Boat Racing is the fastest growing sport in the world. Fresh off a rookie season last year medaling in all three races, Chicago TAP is looking for paddlers to compete in 4-5 races for the 2013 Dragon Boat Season. If you would like to be a part of this exciting team, please participate in these work outs.
