Join Taiwanese American Professionals – Los Angeles (TAP-LA) members as we use reading as an educational platform to empower at-risk youth in Pasadena. Kids Reading to Success (KRS)’s mission is not only to instill a love of reading in youth but also help them to use literacy as a tool to succeed in school and beyond.
KRS students are in the first to sixth grades, ages 5 to 13. Students are encouraged to read aloud and discuss their reading material verbally and in writing with their volunteers.
If you are a NEW volunteer, please fill out a volunteer application form found here: http://www.kidsreadingtosucceed.org/p/get-involved.html and e-mail it to KRS or bring it with you on Saturday when you check in.
