Almost Home: Taiwan – Trailer from Victoria Linchong on Vimeo.

Victoria Linchong’s ALMOST HOME: TAIWAN is a feature-length documentary that examines the legacy of political repression and the emergence of Taiwanese identity and independence, through a family road-trip back home. Bridging the deeply personal and globally political, Almost Home: Taiwan clarifies the controversies surrounding Taiwan, while introducing viewers to raucous night markets, aboriginal festivals, sacred trees and kissing fish.

Five years in the making, it is nearing completion and needs your help to put the finishing touches on it.
