Volunteer at a Community Service Event with TAP-SF

Date: Saturday, September 22, 2012
Time: 4:30pm – 9:30pm
Location: Jack London Square
Address: Broadway & Embarcadero, Oakland, CA
Facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/286471691458564/

Eat Real combines a state fair, a street-food festival, and a block party to create a celebration of good food. Taiwanese American Professionals – San Francisco (TAP-SF) members and non-members alike will have the opportunity to volunteer from 4:30 pm – 9:30 pm on Saturday, Sept 22 at the historic and stunning Jack London Square waterfront.

TAP will be assisting with one of the most popular booths, beverage sales. We will be serving and selling local craft beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages. This is a great opportunity to see what goes on behind the scenes at this festival featuring great, local, and low-priced foods. Our participation is invaluable to the festival organizers because they do not charge an entrance fee (in order to keep costs down).

Public transportation is highly recommended. Food will not be provided during the shift. However, volunteers will be given a break so they can check out the various food vendors (and food trucks!).

Please note: This event is limited as far as the number of attendees. Priority will be given to TAP members first so please become a member if you aren’t already. You can become a member by following online directions here: http://tap-sf.org/membership/. This event is FREE for both members and non-members.

Also, you MUST email Diny Huang at diny.huang@tap-sf.org to confirm your attendance for this event. Responding via the Facebook event page only does not confirm your attendance. See you there!
