If part of your New Year’s resolution was to help improve the environment you live in, then this is the perfect event to start the new year. TAP will be working with REI, SF Recreation and Parks Department, and SF Department of Public Works to help restore the native habitat of the endangered Mission Blue butterfly.
The type of work on this day will entail removing invasive plants and cleaning up litter on the trails and hillside. No prior experience is necessary. You just need to bring a positive attitude and willingness to help out.
Spend this day with fellow TAP members and other community volunteers for a very rewarding experience. As the event ends just before lunch, there will be a nearby restaurant we will go to afterwards. The exact address will be distributed after sign-up is confirmed. Driving to the event is highly recommended. Public transportation is very limited.
*This event is limited as far as the number of attendees. Priority will be given to TAP members first so please become a member if you aren’t already. You can become a member by following online directions here: http://tap-sf.org/membership/ This event is FREE for both members and non-members.
**You MUST email Wilson Tsao at firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm your attendance for this event. Responding via this event page only does NOT confirm your attendance.
