TAP Community Service: Gift Sorting and Creating Holiday Cards in SF

Date: Sunday, December 11, 2011
Time: 1:00pm – 4:00pm
Location: Bayview/Hunters Point, San Francisco, CA
Facebook event page: http://www.facebook.com/events/280044532033152/

The holiday season is in full swing and it’s the perfect time to get into the spirit of giving. Taiwanese American Professionals – SF / Bay area (TAP-SF) will be working with Meals on Wheels of San Francisco to prepare holiday bags and make holiday cards that will go to seniors throughout the city and brighten their holidays.

The type of work on this day may include sorting, wrapping, or stuffing holiday gifts and bags. For those on the more creative end, we will also be creating holiday cards that go along with each gift.

Spend this day with fellow TAP members and MOWSF volunteers for a very rewarding experience. As the event begins just after lunch hours, there will be a restaurant nearby we can meet beforehand. The exact address will be distributed after sign-up is confirmed. Driving to the event is recommended. Public transportation is available but limited. Please contact me directly if you have any questions.

Please note:
