As an aspiring entrepreneur, you probably have these and other questions on your mind. Please join us for a unique opportunity to learn how 3 local business owners got started in this moderated panel presented by TAP-SD.

You’ll hear how they started their company, what inspired them to go after their dreams, their path to success, and where they are now. After the panel there will be a small mixer where you can interact with each of these speakers in a small group setting. Light appetizers and drinks provided.

George Chen
George Chen is Vice President at Ascender Software, Inc and serves on the board of Ascender Software, Inc. and Infotech Systems Management, Inc. He was a founder and has served on the Board of myispartner.com, ShoeBuzz.com, Medtech Solutions, Inc., and Perspective Systems. He brings two decades of experience in the HealthCare IT industry.

Paul H Chen, MD
Dr Paul Chen is owner of The North County Laser Eye Associates, a LASIK eye surgery center located in Carlsbad, CA. He is author of several scientific publications and the inventor of two U.S. patents used for the rapid diagnosis of infections. He has garnered funding for the JET Lasik lens, a novel corneal wound healing device for the eye, and is bringing it through the proof of concept phase in development.

Victor Chang
Victor Chang is founder and CEO of Freakishly Huge Media LLC, an internet media publishing company responsible for a multitude of sites. Most notably, www.theblemish.com, a celebrity gossip site intermixed w/ witty commentary on their lives & www.sofreakingcool.com, informing the world about the coolest & hippest products in the market
