Taiwanese American Professionals – New York (TAP – NY) is volunteering at this Citizenship Drive event. It’s a great opportunity for young professionals to network with immigration attorneys, community activists, and students! OCA-NY, a non-profit organization, is holding a citizenship-training day to educate immigrants in the Flushing community on why it is so important to become a citizen. Immigration lawyers will provide assistance on a pro-bono basis to help review applications for citizenship. Volunteers are needed to help at the event, help translate and help lawful permanent residents fill out citizenship applications.
As this event is in Flushing, we’ll meet up in Manhattan first before going to Flushing.
How: RSVP to jack.lin@tap-ny.org by Friday 4/29
