Check out indie band PaperDoll, fronted by lead vocalist Teresa Lee Chaisiri who is Chinese-Taiwanese-Thai American. Other band members include Steve Paelet on bass, Chip Thomas on drums, and Patrick Moloney on guitar.
One of their songs, “If Nothing Happened,” was featured in a national TV commercial for Vick’s Dayquil and was also named in Blender’s “Five Songs We Love” in March 2010. Last year, in 2010, PaperDoll also won the Kollaboration competition in New York.
