Join the North American Taiwanese Women’s Association (NATWA) II for a great afternoon! You’ll learn an easy and yummy recipe for Taiwanese sweet rice cake, discuss the parenting style as described in Amy Chua’s book “Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother” (Are Chinese, or Taiwanese, mothers really superior?), and hear a special performance by Taiwanese American singer-songwriter Alice Tong! All for free!

NATWA II is group that consists of mainly 1.5 and 2nd generation American and Canadian women of Taiwanese descent and our goal is to cultivate and promote the talents of young Taiwanese American and Taiwanese Canadian women, as well as to preserve Taiwanese culture and promote Taiwanese American and Taiwanese Canadian identity.
