99 HISTORIES Play and Panel Discussion
September 28, 2014 @ 2:00 am - 5:00 pm

Join the North America Taiwanese Women’s Association (NATWA II) for the Los Angeles screening of 99 Histories, a story about the bonds between mothers, daughters, and sisters. Written by acclaimed playwright Julia Cho, the play revolves around Eunice, a Korean American former cello prodigy, who comes home pregnant and unmarried, and tries to mend her relationship with her mother. Haunted by violent memories, Eunice must confront her ghosts before she can move forward.
The play will be immediately followed by a post-show discussion to explore the mental health themes in the play. Panelists include NATWA II’s own Dr. Michi Fu. Visit http://bit.ly/AAP99H and use code “MHP-99H” to purchase discount tickets for only $15.
