2019 Taiwanese American Heritage Week: Shinergy Puppet Show

Since 1999, Taiwanese American Heritage Week, as designated by the U.S. Congress has been celebrated nationwide during the month of May to recognize and honor the cultures, traditions, contributions, and achievements of Taiwanese Americans in the United States.
This year, we are excited to have Shinergy Puppet Show on stage to put on a special puppet show performance at World Trade Center Portland Auditorium on May 17th.Shinergy Puppet Show combines traditional puppet show with high quality animation and visual effect technology. It’s the world first light carving projection puppet show.

新勝景掌中劇即將來到波特蘭市為2019台美人傳統週獻上精緻的布袋戲演出！將野臺戲與動畫投影結合，設計出史無前例的『光雕投影布袋戲』。同時為了讓聽不懂台語的民眾與國際人士都能享受戲劇，舞台會加上中英字幕。
台美人傳統週一直是僑界最備受期待的年度重點活動之一。此項活動在1999年由美國國會正式頒布，來宣揚台灣傳統，藝術和文化。
同鄉會己於過去十年來陸續聘請許多來自台灣的藝文團體於本地表演。我們希望今年能有更多台灣藝術和文化愛好者加入我們。
