Mother. Founder. Leader.
I am the owner behind Bravegals where we launched our brand June 2020. Brave Gals is empowering Mompreneurs through a collection of apparel items with encouraging messages and fostering a community of women to share their Brave stories. Going through the adoption journey herself adopting from Korea, Judy experienced the struggle balancing the pursuit of her career dreams and motherhood. Therefore, Judy decided to create this community and online business to help mompreneurs all around the world, to learn from others and believe moms can achieve more than what themselves or society tells them. Brave Gals is also donating 10% of their proceeds to foster care and adoption organizations around the globe.
How does being Taiwanese/Taiwanese American and/or community ally play a role in your life?
As a first-generation Taiwanese American, I came to the US when I was 17, I have very strong roots in Taiwan. However, coming here has opened my worldview on being able to own to both my Taiwanese and American identity, enabling me to dream bigger as I meet more people here in the States pursuing their passion.
Favorite memory of Taiwan/Taiwanese America?
The favorite memory and simultaneously what I miss the most about Taiwan is the friendly, enthusiastic, and “small-town” culture of the Taiwanese people and community.
