DESCRIPTION:Come out and watch Fire EX. Taiwan’s representative Punk Rock Band and Fake Your Own Death (FYOD) band perform in San Francisco! \n滅火器  Fire EX. from Kaohsiung\, Taiwan\, was established in 2000. The band consists of lead vocalist Sam\, guitarist Orio\, bassist Jc\, who were classmates in high school; drummer Ti Wu joined them in 2012\, and completed the band. \nAs of today\, they have released four full albums and many singles; Fire EX. combines the base tones of punk rock with lyrics reflecting current times and real-life\, striking a chord with those who readily identify with their songs. Popular tracks\, such as ‘Good Night! Formosa!’\, ‘A Man on the Sea’\, and ‘Island’s Sunrise’\, have made Fire EX. the representative punk rock band of modern times\, and earning them the name of ‘The Taiwan People’s Music Band’. \nFake Your Own Death\nYou don’t have to actually die to start over\, but you might have to pretend to. FYOD has been compared to bands like Echo and the Bunnymen\, Sonic Youth and Jesus and Mary Chain by both local and national press. \nTwo of the band members in FYOD are teachers and one is a skipper on a boat. \nFYOD has played with bands like The Warlocks\, Blood Red Shoes\, Film School\, White Denim\, Bob Mould and Gang of Four. FYOD sometimes plays under the name El Terrible which was Terry’s nickname when he was a short order cook at a Sizzler. \nFake Your Own Death is Scott Eberhardt\, Terry Ashkinos\, Israel Chavarin and Jimmy Chen. \n
