DESCRIPTION:Join TAP-Chicago to celebrate one of the major Taiwanese holidays\, the Mid-Autumn Festival. We will have traditional holiday foods such as mooncakes for everyone to enjoy\, as well as games\, and an open bar! \nAfter light snacks\, dinner will consist of a multiple course Taiwanese meal with dishes you’ll be hard pressed to find on menus in Chicago! \nThe celebration will take place on the 28th-story rooftop party room\, perfect for moon-gazing. \nSCHEDULE\n7:00pm – 8:00pm: Cocktails (Open Bar!) and games\n8:00pm – 9:00pm: Delicious 6-Course Taiwanese dinner.\n9:00pm – 10:30pm: Networking and After-Party \nOPEN BAR\nWe’ll provide the usual beer\, hard liquor\, soft drinks\, and cocktails all evening long. \nLIVE DJ \nTHE FOOD\n– Taiwanese Braised Pork Rice (魯肉飯)\n– Taiwanese 3-Cup Chicken (三杯雞)\n– Taiwanese Lion Head Meatball (獅子頭)\n– Taiwanese Omelette with Dried Radish & Scallion (菜脯蛋)\n– Green Chives with Shredded Tofu (韭菜炒豆絲)\n– Chicken Roll (雞卷)\n– Stir-Fry Green Beans (四季豆) \nCOST\nEarly bird ticket: $30 by Sun\, September 21st.\nLate bird ticket: $35 by Wed\, September 24th.\nLate/On site registration: $40 (IF space is available) \nTICKETS – only way to ensure your attendance is through Eventbrite.\nhttp://tap-mid-autumn.eventbrite.com/ \nThis event sells out every year\, so make sure to register early!
