Her research interests and expertise include: environmental policy and sustainable development\, science and technology to communicate with the community / public decision-making and risk\, citizen participation / deliberative democracy\, openness and transparency of information governance. Long member of the environmental movement\, many time participant of international environmental NGO Conferences on the Environment\, director of global citizenship\, global responsibility for technology movement (International Campaign for Responsible Technology) Executive Committee. In Taiwan and the US she has won the International Youth Foundation Community Service Leadership Award (1999) Part of the Environmental class social movement group (2007)\, and the National Science Council Mr. Wu Taiyou Memorial Award (2010). \n
