DESCRIPTION:Taiwanese American Professionals – San Francisco (TAP-SF) community service branch welcomes all of you to come and celebrate National Trails Days with a morning of plant restoration work to maintain and improve the habitat for wildlife and preserve the rich biodiversity of the area! \nPre-registration is mandatory via the following link and will close when Sutro Stewards deems appropriate – first come\, first serve: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/national-trails-day-on-mount-sutro-tickets-16476576885 \nMount Sutro is a prominent landmark located in the center of San Francisco. It plays an important role in both the cultural and natural history of San Francisco. Come explore its lush forest and century-old trails while helping maintain and restore the area. Some activities might include transplanting seedlings\, planting and preserving living Seed-Bank gardens\, trail work\, and maintaining sections of a 5-mile trail network. \nWe’ll work until 12:30pm\, then break for pizza and refreshments\, provided by Mount Sutro’s event management. \nContact: Christie Lin christie.lin@tap-sf.org\nCommunity Service committee \nTAP-SF family looks forward to exploring and restoring Mount Sutro with you! \nFAQ: \nDo I have to be Taiwanese or Asian-American to join?\n* Nope. The Woods lot is about three blocks from the UCSF Parnassus Campus and can be reached by public transportation to Parnassus then by walking to the Woods Lot. \nClothing?\nLong pants\, long shirts\, and sturdy shoes are recommended. Clothing and shoes will get dirty.\n \n
