DESCRIPTION:Help a child fall in love with reading! Taiwanese American Professionals – San Diego (TAP-SD) is partnering with Traveling Stories San Diego to help foster youth literacy. At the Story Tent in City Heights Farmers’ Market\, you’ll have the chance to spend Saturday morning reading with kids\, motivating them with book bucks for winning prizes\, and picking locally grown vegetables for yourself afterwards. Come make a positive impact on the futures of SD’s children! \nNo experience needed! All training and equipment will be provided on-site. \nNote: Registration is REQUIRED. You MUST email Julia Kao at jkao@tap-sd.org to confirm attendance for this event. RSVP on the Facebook event page does not confirm your attendance. A simple Application Form will be provided after confirming via email. \n
