SUMMARY:Breast Cancer Awareness Race with NATWA in SoCal
DESCRIPTION:Susan G. Komen for the Cure is the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives\, empower people\, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Since 1982\, the organization has invested nearly $1 billion to fulfill the promise becoming one of the largest sources of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world. \nNorth America Taiwanese Women’s Association-Southern CA Chapter (NATWA-So. CA) has been participating in this event since 2005 as “Team Taiwan”. We will love to invite all our friends to participate in this very meaningful activity to help raise funds for the breast cancer research and education. In the meantime\, it will also increase the visibility of Taiwan. \nTo participate\, please register at website: www.komenoc.org/race. \nPlease select “Register” button\, click “I agree”\, select “Join a team”\, select “Team Taiwan”\, then under the Action header\, then fill out the form and select “9:45am 5K Run/Walk”\, and then complete the rest of the registration.
