DESCRIPTION:Taiwanese American Professionals – Los Angeles (TAP-LA) is proud to present to you our Baijiu (白酒) tasting event sponsored by Peking Tavern and CNS Importers\, Inc. A CNS representative knowledgeable about baijiu will give a presentation and pour attendees samples of several kinds of Baijiu. Snacks provided courtesy of Peking Tavern. You are more than welcome to stay\, have dinner on your own\, and mingle after the event has ended. \nBaijiu the category is also known as “gaoliang jiu” particularly in Taiwan. Gaoliang “高粱“ means sorghum which is the primary grain that the spirit is made with.
