I’ve come to understand the reasons behind my mom’s nagging, and without knowing it, I’ve incorporated many of her \u5927\u9053\u7406 into my life.<\/p>\n<\/div>
\n\"\"<\/a>What did you learn from your mother about being Taiwanese?<\/strong> (\u59b3\u5f9e\u59b3\u6bcd\u89aa\u90a3\u5152\u5b78\u5230\u751a\u9ebc\u662f\u4e00\u500b\u53f0\u7063\u4eba?)<\/em><\/p>\n

She’s taught me that being Taiwanese is about actively pursuing and learning about my culture. She’s encouraged me to read the Chinese newspaper, taken me to Taiwanese plays and operas, and of course, cooked me tons of delicious traditional Taiwanese food. I definitely appreciate how she has emphasized the importance of becoming knowledgeable about my roots and to not just
\npassively dismiss my identity as Taiwanese.<\/p>\n

What is the most important thing you have learned from your mother?<\/strong> (\u59b3\u5f9e\u6bcd\u89aa\uff0f\u5973\u5152\u5b78\u5230\u7684\u6700\u91cd\u8981\u7684\u662f\u751a\u9ebc?)<\/em><\/p>\n

Treasure every moment with family! Since a couple of years ago, my mom has gone back to Taiwan 2-3 times a year just to be with my aging grandma. When she’s back in Taiwan, she accompanies my grandma to physical therapy, helps with repairs and renovations in my grandma’s apartment, and takes time to just sit and listen to my grandmother. She’s the kind of daughter after which I want to model myself. <\/p>\n

As time has gone on, how has your relationship with your mother changed?<\/strong> (\u96a8\u8457\u5e74\u6b72\u7684\u589e\u9577\uff0c\u59b3\u5011\u6bcd\u5973\u95dc\u4fc2\u6709\u600e\u9ebc\u6a23\u7684\u8b8a\u5316?)<\/em><\/p>\n

I’ve come to understand the reasons behind my mom’s nagging, and without knowing it, I’ve incorporated many of her \u5927\u9053\u7406 into my life. Nowadays, I feel that I can tell my mom anything, and I call her almost everyday. I share the stories that are going on in my life with her, and she tells me the latest scandalous (not really) family news or the interesting things she’s heard from her friends. Yeah, my mom’s pretty cool.<\/p>\n

What is one thing that you would like your mother to know?<\/strong> (\u6709\u90a3\u4ef6\u4e8b\u662f\u59b3\u5e0c\u671b\u8b93\u59b3\u7684\u6bcd\u89aa\uff0f\u5973\u5152\u77e5\u9053\u7684?)<\/em><\/p>\n
