Also known as the Tuan Yuan (團圓, family reunion) Festival and the Moon Festival, because of the bright full moon of the season, it symbolizes the happiness, unity, and harmony of family. This holiday is celebrated in Taiwan and throughout Asia on the 15th day of the eighth month of the lunar calendar, so this year, it lands on September 27, 2015! TAP-Chicago Mid-Autumn Festival

Join TAP-Chicago to celebrate one of the major Taiwanese holidays, the Mid-Autumn Festival. We will have traditional holiday foods such as mooncakes for everyone to enjoy, as well as games, and an open bar! After light snacks, dinner will consist of a multiple course Taiwanese meal with dishes you’ll be hard pressed to find on menus in Chicago!
