Come and join us for the TAP-SF 2014 Holiday Season Charity Event!
This year, Taiwanese American Professionals in SF (TAP-SF) is working with the Family Giving Tree organization. We will be doing a scavenger hunt for gifts for low-income families with children that are in need of some extra Holiday Cheer this year. By participating in the scavenger hunt, we will all get to do some SHOPPING (something most people already LOVE doing), while simultaneously DONATING back to our community and spreading Holiday JOY to children. A WIN-WIN for everyone!
***IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE: Participants are asked to come prepared with a small amount of money ($10) to pool together to buy the gifts***
Participants will be organized into small teams to hunt/buy the gifts from the children’s wish list. These will be small and inexpensive items (we won’t be buying Playstations or Xboxs). Teams will be timed and the fastest team will WIN! Show your fellow TAP members who are the best teams (shoppers)!
Post hunt, we will get together and gift wrap everything for the children. In an effort to be “GREEN”, we ask volunteers to bring any gift wrapping supplies, paper bags, and art supposes to decorate and put personal TAP touches on them.
Come join us and help spread Holiday Cheer to the families at Family Giving Tree!
