We are pleased to announce the 2016 Formosan Association for Public Affairs (FAPA)-San Diego Annual Meeting will be held at Taiwan Center on Saturday, October 1st, from 2PM to 5PM. Both members and non-members are welcome to attend. **To allow time for chapter internal affairs, we ask MEMBERS TO BE PRESENT AT 2PM, and NON-MEMBERS to BE PRESENT AT 2:30PM. SPEAKER SESSIONS WILL START AT 2:30PM.
Who is FAPA?
The long term mission of Formosan Association for Public Affairs (FAPA, fapa.org) is to strengthen the tie between U.S. and Taiwan and further to promote Taiwan’s right to self-determination in the U.S. Congress.
Why attend the Annual Meeting?
This is a great way to learn about the full scope of work FAPA does at the national and local level. This year, we are honored to have FAPA’s National President, Peter Chen, as the featured speaker. Following his talk, we will also have a panel of experienced congressional advocates to share their success stories of interactions with congressional members. Last but not least, you get to meet with like-minded people who care and are willing to spend their personal time advocating for the homeland.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Wani Chen at [email protected]
