About Taiwanese American Citizens League (TACL)
Formed in 1985, TACL oversees a multitude of programs to build an understanding of Taiwanese American heritage and develop leaders across ages. For example, TACL’s summer camps LID and LYF provide safe environments for young students (elementary to high school) to make new friends, explore a common identity, and have fun; the Political Internship Program places students in political offices where they gain hands-on experience in the political process; and the TAP programs help network young professionals across the nation with chapters in Atlanta, Boston, DC, Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, San Francisco and Seattle.
