On behalf of the staff of TaiwaneseAmerican.org, we thank all of you — our loyal supporters over the years as well as the new friends who have discovered us through our website or social media feeds — for helping us grow into the largest web and social media site serving the next generation of Taiwanese Americans and our allies! We feel an immense responsibility serving you and highlighting a wide-range of topics, issues, people and news relevant to Taiwanese America.
Because of you, we recently reached a lucky milestone on Facebook as our Page just surpassed 8,888 followers! As many of you know, in East Asian cultures, the number 8 is an auspicious one and is associated with prosperity. The more 8’s, the better! Turn the number 8 on its side and you have an infinity symbol. Fortunately, we captured the moment we hit all 8’s, and we’re so pleased to share it with you.
We have met, networked, or communicated with many of you over the years, but we know there are so many more of you who simply support us because of our mission and what we do. No matter how you connect with us, whether through Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, or YouTube, know that we completely appreciate your support. We hope to eventually cross paths with all of you at some point!
