TASC believes that music brings people happiness and brings people together. Through music, we can bring down barriers between cultural and ethnic groups.

This concert is in partnership with Union Rescue Mission (URM), a non-profit organization dedicated to serving men, women, and children experiencing homelessness. They work with the homeless along Skid Row in Los Angeles providing comprehensive emergency and long-term services.

Through this concert, people of all backgrounds can come together not only to appreciate one another, but also to make a lasting contribution to society so that one day there will be no apathy, nor homelessness in the world. We want to show that no matter where we are in life, everyone should be treated with kindness, dignity and respect.

Doors Open: 6:30 PM
Show Starts: 7:00 PM
Date: May 15 (Thursday) at Palisades Room in Carnesale Commons (right next to Bruin Plate)

Free admission for UCLA students; $5 donation suggested

All donations will go towards Union Rescue Mission (URM) to alleviate homelessness.

We are accepting both monetary and clothing donations (new and used).

Donation Guideline:

1. Clothing (from URM):

At Union Rescue Mission, we treat every “guest” or resident with all the respect a child of God deserves. We treat them the way we want to be treated ourselves. That means we never give someone an item of clothing or pair of shoes that we would not be willing to wear ourselves.

2. Monetary:

We will set up booths for you to donate to the URM directly with credit/debit card.

All monetary donations will be matched by an anonymous donor from URM!
