Come join North American Taiwanese Medical Association (NATMA) for its annual spring hike! We’ll be going to Schabarum Regional Park this year. If we’re lucky, the cherry blossoms will still be around. The park offers views of the Pomona Valley, San Gabriel Mountains & Mt. Baldy. We will be doing a 3 mile hike that ranges from easy to intermediate.
Parking on weekends is $6 per car, so you may want to carpool. You can try parking at the mall, but you’ll risk being towed. The group will be meeting at the park office. Check this site for more information on the park: http://parks.lacounty.gov/wps/portal/dpr/Parks/Peter_F_Schabarum_Regional_Park
Make sure you bring sun screen, hats, etc. NATMA will provide water.
After the hike, we’re going to have lunch at Osaka Seafood Buffet. It’s located next to the 99 Ranch at 1655 Azusa Ave, Hacienda Heights, CA. Lunch will be $10. It’s normally $24, but we were able to get a sponsor. This price includes tax & tip.
Feel free to invite your family & friends. Make sure you complete the registration form & return it to Kenny Cherng, our president. I couldn’t attach it to this event, but you can find it on the NATMA group page.
I look forward to seeing all of you soon!
