The Austin Chapter of Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce (ACTCC) hosts its 2014 Lunar New Year & Taiwanese Lantern Festival.
Program includes delicious dinner, 512 Band performing Taiwan songs, Lion Dances, Lantern Festival Riddles, Taiwanese Jokes Contest with prizes, introduction of the earliest Taiwanese immigrants at Austin & Asian Texans history, Bingo, Attendee’s self-introduction & experience sharing, Line Dances, talent shows, bubble fun, youth wisdom enlightening ceremony, and flying sky lantern, etc. Asian public elected officials and candidates will be invited to share their vision in serving the community.
Tickets: (A) ACTCC members and college students: $10. (B) Non-ACTCC member: $12. (C) Age 5-17 students: $6. (D) Age 5 or under: Free for young kids if he/she is accompanied by an adult with a ticket. Sponsorships are welcome.
