Ten years after it last held the East Coast Conference, Yale is once again hosting this annual gathering of Taiwanese American college students and bringing it back to where ITASA ECC began in 1993. We invite you to take part in one of the biggest Taiwanese American collegiate events of the year!
Registration is now open for the 2014 ITASA East Coast Conference at Yale University! There will have early-bird pricing for the first 50 registrations and regular registration pricing for everyone else. Registration will close February 2, 2014.
This year’s theme “Work In Progress” reminds us that there is always something we can be doing to make a difference in our communities. Building on the ideas of activism and service, our vision for our conference is that every attendee will leave Yale equipped with the knowledge, resources, skills, and relationships they will need to create positive change.
ITASA (Intercollegiate Taiwanese American Students Association) is a national 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that connects, inspires, and empowers the Taiwanese American student community. ITASA’s annual East Coast Conference (ECC) attracts nearly 400 undergraduates nationwide who attend workshops led by prominent Taiwanese American speakers, social events to meet fellow students, and interactive discussions about culture, identity, education, and leadership.
The deadline for our student speaker competition is December 20,2013, so we are in the process of reaching out to potential attendees. Learn more about the competition here: http://yaleitasa.herokuapp.com/competition
Also, the deadline for our Indiegogo Campaign is January 3, 2014, so we will be heavily advertising the campaign in December.
