Mentorship Program with ITASA and TAP in NY

The purpose of the inaugural Intercollegiate Taiwanese American Student Association (ITASA) & Taiwanese American Professionals – New York (TAP-NY) Mentorship Program is to provide college juniors with the opportunity to network, develop their professional skills and build their personal brands while expanding their exposure to young professionals in the Taiwanese American community.

Mentees from NYU and Columbia will be matched with mentors from TAP-NY based on similar professional and personal interests. As part of the program, mentees and mentors will agree to meet in person at least twice during the spring semester, maintain regular phone or email communication and attend the program’s pillar events in February and April.

In order to be accepted to the program, you must:
-be a Taiwanese American junior (Class of 2015) at NYU or Columbia
-commit to in-person meetings with your mentor at least once every two months and have regular phone/email communication in addition to attending pillar events during the weekend of 2/8-2/9 and mid to late-April in New York

Selected students will be notified of their acceptance in January 2014 and receive further program details and instructions then.
