CMJ’s daytime conference is held at the Helen and Martin Kimmel Center on Washington Square Park. From October 15-19 attendees will have the chance to mingle and network, at over 80 panels featuring new leaders and emergent entrepreneurs offering insight into how to thrive in an industry that’s constantly evolving.

On Wednesday’s “Talking Taiwan: Asia’s Growing Marketplace” panel, we’ll take a close look at the interactions and differences of the music scenes and industries in Taiwan and the US, and the implications for American artists wishing to enter Asia’s growing music market. Musicians and executives share their first-hand experiences on both sides of the Pacific as well as on collaborative projects that can help American musicians enter the Taiwanese and broader Asian markets.
