Come experience Taiwan’s art, food and fashion at Grand Central Terminal on September 28th 2013 from 11am-2pm. Museum Day Live! is an annual event hosted by Smithsonian magazine and this year Taiwan Tourism Bureau and Smithsonian Museum have partnered together to showcase some of the best art, food, cultural performance and even a fashion show to have you come “Celebrate Taiwan” at Grand Central Terminal together.

To honor the spirit of Museum Day Live!, everything is FREE.

*Featuring a lineup of exciting performances:
– Food Demonstration features Chef Chang from Shinyeh Taiwanese Restaurant (欣葉主廚示範烏魚子美食創意料理)
– Aboriginal Dance Performance by Yungli Dance (原住民舞蹈表演)
– Third Prince Performance by Passport to Taiwan (三太子表演)
– Taiwanese Diabolo/Chinese yo-yos (扯鈴表演)
– Taiwanese Designers Fashion Show (台灣設計師的時裝秀: AsianInNY Presents Malan Breton collection by designer Malan Breton and Accrochez, Cynical Cher’I, Val Kyrie collections from PRAXES led by designer Wenlan Chia. )

*Sampling a list of Taiwanese food and drink:
– Food samplings: 1500 pieces of Taiwan caviar mullet by Chef of Shin-yeh Taiwanese Restaurant (免費品嘗烏魚子)
– Bubble tea sampling: 1000 cups 16oz Taiwan authentic COCO bubble tea (免費試喝珍珠奶茶)

*Demonstrating the beautiful Taiwan art and culture:
– Artist PangChiu Liu demonstrating calligraphy and porcelain carving work (劉邦秋老師示範書法瓷刻)
– The National Palace Museum display (國立故宮博物院介紹展覽)
– Tea Ceremony (茶道) sampling free Taiwanese Oolong Tea
