Come join Taiwanese American Professionals – San Diego (TAP-SD) for Cowles Mountain fullmoon night-hike to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival. There are no events that symbolize the spirit of Mid-Autumn festival better than night-hike. Instead of getting fat together at BBQ, you get to workout with your fellow TAP members reaching to the peak. Once we arrive at the peak, let’s watch the fullmoon together while sharing the delicious moon cake.

At 1,592 feet, Cowles Mountain is the highest point within the City of San Diego. Located in the San Carlos neighborhood of the city, its main hiking trail is one of the most popular in the area, with a 360 degree view from the summit. The trail path is approximately 1.5 mile which is relatively simple for both Adult and Child. On a clear day, you can even see Gaslamp from the peak.

We will be meeting at the Cowle Mountain parking lot (Golfcrest Dr and Navajo Road)

We will be starting the hike at 8PM sharp. Please be on time. It is really not the Mid-Autumn Festival spirit to leave people behind! Also, please bring any mooncake you will like to share with others!

Also, please bring flashlight or any other types of light source. Even though moonlight itself should be enough, this is just in case for some trail sections that are very difficult to see at night. See you there!
