When was the last time you edited your resume? If it takes you longer than two seconds to think, it’s time you dust that off! Taiwanese American Professionals – DC (TAP-DC) is hosting a Resume Workshop where you’ll learn the top do’s and don’ts of the business from expert Ms. Ellen Law, DoD (ret.).

Ellen Law recently retired after more than 20 years as a Senior Policy Analyst with the Chief Information Officer of the U.S. Department of Defense. She has worked in the private sector at Fortune 50 companies. In parallel, for 25 years, she has been editor and writer of newspapers, books and articles, and a consultant on successful resumes, executive core qualifications, and curricula vitae. She has been an Arlington County Schools lecturer on applying for Federal government jobs for four years, and has given her talk on resumes and government job applications to the Asian American Government Executive Network’s (AAGEN) Leadership Conference six times.

The evening will consist of a dynamic presentation with Q&A informally facilitated by Ms. Law. Please bring at least one copy of your resume for editing.

Please email Dan at daniel dot chang at tap-dc dot org (daniel.chang@tap-dc.org) with any questions.
