Join Taiwanese American Professionals – San Diego (TAP-SF) to kick this Spring off right by exploring one of the natural beauties of San Diego at Rancho Penasquitos Canyon. Although situated in the midst of suburbia, there are moments where you may as well be in the wilderness as the path winds alongside a meadow through dense forest and vast open grasslands.
We will take a breather at the rocky waterfall (not that we will need a breather since the path is mostly flat), and turn back. The overall distance is about 5-6 miles round trip. Dogs are welcome.
We will go to Chin’s, one exit south on the 15, afterward for anyone interested.

Parking is free and is located at Canyonside Park (12350 Black Mountain Rd, San Diego, CA). Take the 15 Freeway and exit at Mira Mesa Blvd. Drive west on Mira Mesa Blvd, and turn right at Black Mountain Road, and then a left on Canyonside Park Driveway. Follow the signs to Ranch House and park there.
