Presenting Topic Discussions: No hired experts, no lectures, just conversation over food. Some of us are more well-versed in issues than others, so the more we help each other, the stronger we become as a community. Let us know if there is a topic that interests you!

This month’s topic:
The US is again at a pivotal point in history. Last election, Americans came out in droves to vote for our first ever African American President, and now, as a final reflection of approval, will decide if he will remain in office. It’s important as Americans we go out and exercise our right to vote The state of the economy, Obamacare, foreign policy are all major issues in this election but are you well-versed on all the issues?

Come join your fellow Taiwanese American Professionals (TAP) members to discuss Decision 2012.
Topics/questions:
1. What are the defining issues for the election of 2012? What is each candidate’s position? Which ones are important to you?
2. How has Obama’s Foreign Policy performed, especially in relation to Asia and Taiwan? Will Romney’s policy differ?
3. How will the election affect Taiwanese Americans, or Asian Americans as a whole?
