Taiwan Week (September 14 – September 22, 2012) is seeking talented bands/musicians to perform at our concert on September 21 (Friday)! Taiwan Week is one of the major events in the Taiwanese-American Community. Our goal is to introduce Taiwanese culture to Americans through mixers, food, movies, and live music. We would love to celebrate Taiwan Week at the concert with musicians and fans from everywhere in the world.
It does not matter if you are Taiwanese, Taiwanese-American, someone who has visited Taiwan, or merely a Taiwan culture enthusiast; you are welcome and encouraged to e-mail Shu-Ying Chung at potocake@gmail.com with your band’s Facebook page, Bandcamp page, or any other page that links to your music. Also, please provide a link to a video of live performance if possible. Once again, bands of all nationalities (not just Taiwanese bands) are welcome!
Although we have limited funds and can only provide small payment, the selected bands/musicians will have a further opportunity to perform at our other event at TIME SQUARE on September 22 (Saturday). Footage of the concert will be provided for promos/advertising.
