Please join the Formosa Foundation and our Founder, Mr. Li-Pei Wu, for his speech on “Where is Taiwan Heading?”

Mr. Li-Pei Wu founded the Formosa Foundation in 2001 following a life-long commitment to promoting human rights and democracy for Taiwan. Mr. Wu has been a banker by profession, most notable for his successful revival and management of Los Angeles-based GBC Bancorp and its subsidiary bank, General Bank. In 2003, he retired from GBC Bancorp and served as Senior Advisor to Taiwan’s former President Chen Shui-bian.

Please join us in honoring Mr. Li-Pei Wu for his outstanding contributions to the Taiwanese-American community and for his steadfast commitment to safeguard Taiwan’s democracy.
