As one of the “Asian Tigers”, it has long enjoyed a reputation for business savvy and global trade. Taiwan is one of the United State’s top ten trading partners, and has made great efforts to promote environmental sustainability, including seeking participation in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
