The Kollaboration Chicago 2012 Show, presented by StateFarm, is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose primary mission is “Empowerment through Entertainment.” They are dedicated to providing the API youth throughout the Chicago area with a creative outlet to showcase their talents on stage. By hosting shows across the nation, Kollaboration seeks to gather diverse Asian American talent and bring their presence into mainstream media and the entertainment industry.
Each year, Kollaboration hosts annual shows in fourteen major cities across North America to exhibit the talents of local API performers. Competitors in Chicago include Taiwanese American Melody Chen and other talented singers/dancers: Adam Choi, Andrew Yun, Jun Sun Ahn, Kapwa Modern, Phonny, and Tabitha Jou.
