Ronald McDonald House of San Diego is a “home away from home” for families with seriously ill children being treated at San Diego area hospitals. One of Ronald McDonald House’s many goals is to offer their families a dinner every night of the week. Not having to prepare their own meal, after a day at the hospital, gives families one less worry during this difficult time in their lives. Additionally, they have a chance to connect and spend time with other families in similar situations.
Come help make a difference in someone’s day and prepare a meal for the families at Ronald McDonald House! Taiwanese American Professionals – San Diego (TAP-SD) will be preparing food at their fully equipped kitchen and serving food afterwards. The menu of the day we volunteer was requested to be a brunch theme. Due to the capacity of the facility, it’s recommended to limit our group to 15 people. So RSVP as soon as possible!
