For this special event, Taiwanese American Professionals – DC (TAP-DC) will be teaming up with the 20’s and 30’s Asian Going Out Group to raise donations for the TACL Internship Program. We have all of Modern to ourselves and it’s a fantastic way to get the summer started off by meeting plenty of new faces!
The Taiwanese American Citizens League (TACL) Political Internship Program is celebrating its 20th year of empowering young leaders and promoting the value of public service. For the duration of the 9-week program, TACL interns will work in the offices of elected officials in Washington, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, to gain a better understanding of the American political system through active, hands-on involvement. The Washington, DC program is proud to host four interns this summer. TACL is 100% volunteer-based and proceeds from this event will go towards the support of TACL interns.
