ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
Cynthia Lin (www.cynthialin.com) Drawing comparisons to Ella Fitzgerald and Joni Mitchell, San Francisco-based singer/songwriter Cynthia Lin captivates audiences with a rich, outsized voice and witty, honest storytelling. Cynthia has released three albums independently and tours nationally. On her latest album Microscope (2010), she takes full artistic ownership in producing, arranging, and recording the nine-song collection, as well as hand-printing the limited edition letterpress packaging.

Kris Racer (www.krisracer.com) “Kris Racer plays sweet acoustic pop, the type of heartfelt music embraced by sensitive boys with shaky voices around the world. The obvious musical touchstone here would be Dashboard Confessional, but Racer mostly avoids that group’s saccharine mewling.” – The Onion AV Club. Kris once made a duct tape wallet.

Annie Lin (www.annielin.com) San Francisco-based Annie Lin is known for her low, lustrous voice and her wry lyrics, which have drawn comparisons to Aimee Mann and Leslie Feist. “Annie Lin lets her well-crafted songs do the talking for her. The diminutive singer packs a melancholy and delightfully snarky edge in her newer offhand tales of relationship snarls.” – Houston Press When Annie isn’t playing music or working in the music industry, she knits all kinds of things, including tiny cats.
